Demolition of Babri Masjid

On December 6, 1992, a large crowd of Hindu Karsevaks (volunteers) entirely destroyed the 16th-century Babri mosque in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, in an attempt to reclaim the land known as Ram Janmabhoomi. The demolition occurred after a religious ceremony turned violent and resulted in several months of intercommunal rioting between India's Hindu and Muslim communities, causing the death of at least 2,000 people.

Holland Tunnel commissioned

Holland Tunnel(is a highway tunnel under the Hudson River connecting the island of Manhattan in New York City with Jersey City, New Jersey at Interstate 78 on the mainland of the United States.) was renamed in memory of its first chief engineer by the New York State Bridge and Tunnel Commission and the New Jersey Interstate Bridge and Tunnel Commission on November 12, 1924.

China's first lunar satellite, Chang'e 1 goes into orbit around the Moon

Chang’e 1 was an unmanned Chinese lunar-orbiting spacecraft, part of the first phase of the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program. It was launched on 24 October 2007 at 10:05:04 UTC from Xichang Satellite Launch Center. It left lunar transfer orbit on 31 October and entered lunar orbit on 5 November 2007.

Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway

The Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station was launched On November 4,1931
 
Rail transport begin in Kerala between Beeper and Tirur line (30.6km) on March 12,1861. Train was built by Madras Railway Company.
The first Train service began in Travancore on November 26,1904,with the completion of the Chengotta -Punalur meter gauge line.

Indian Air Force officially established

The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian armed forces. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during a conflict. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire and the prefix Royal was added in 1945 in recognition of its services during World War II.

The September 11 attacks  or 9/11 were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks launched by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda upon the United States in New York City and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area on September 11, 2001. Two planes, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, were crashed into the North and South towers, respectively, of the World Trade Center complex in New York City.

Pauline Marois becomes the first female premier of Quebec



On September 4, 2012, Pauline Marois, the 30th and current Premier of Quebec and leader of the Parti Quebecoisled her party to victory in the Quebec general election, thus becoming the first female premier in the province's history. Marois is representing the riding of Charlevoix–Cote-de-Beaupre in the National Assembly of Quebec.

Mars made its closest approach to Earth

Mars made its closest approach to Earth and maximum apparent brightness in nearly 60,000 years, 55,758,006 km (0.372719 AU), magnitude −2.88, on 27 August 2003 . This occurred when Mars was one day from opposition and about three days from its perihelion, making Mars particularly easy to see from Earth. Excluded Pluto

Pluto is the second-most-massive known dwarf planet in the Solar System after Eris. On August 24, 2006, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) defined what it means to be a "planet" within the Solar System. This definition excluded Pluto as a planet and added it as a member of the new category "dwarf planet" along with Eris and Ceres. After the reclassification, Pluto was added to the list of minor planets and given the number 134340.
