Attukal Pongala

Attukal is a Hindu pilgrimage centre in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. It is situated about two kilometers to the south east from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram City. Attukal Pongala is a famous festival celebrated annually at the renown of Attukal Devi Temple. The whole world is awaiting for the holy ceremony and every woman will pray to the Devi to bless them to be a part of it. In 2013 Attukal Pongala is on February 26th, Tuesday..

Levi Strauss

Levi Strauss was a German-American businessman who founded the first company to manufacture Blue Jeans in1853. He was Born on  February 26, 1829 and died on  September 26, 1902.
