International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People

The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is a UN-organized observance. Events are held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, as well as at the United Nations offices at Genevaand Vienna. It is generally held on November 29 each year to mark the anniversary of resolution 181. In 2003, it was observed on December 1.

Russell Alan Hulse

Russell Alan Hulse was born November 28, 1950 and he is an American physicist and winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, shared with his thesis advisor Joseph Hooton Taylor Jr., "for the discovery of a new type of pulsar, a discovery that has opened up new possibilities for the study of gravitation". He was a specialist in the pulsar studies and gravitational waves.

First train service in Kerala

Train service began in Travancore on November 26,1904,with the completion of the Chengotta -Punalur meter gauge line. Rail transport begin in Kerala between Beeper and Tirur line (30.6km) on March 12,1861. Train was built by Madras Railway Company.
