Samuel Finley Breese Morse was born on
April 27, 1791, he is an American inventor. He contributed to
the invention of a single-wire telegraph system based on European
telegraphs, was a co-inventor of the Morse code, and also an
accomplished painter.He died on April 2, 1872.
