Carl David Anderson

Carl David Anderson was born on September 3, 1905, he an American physicist. He is best known for his discovery of the positron in 1932, an achievement for which he received the 1936 Nobel Prize in Physics. He died on January 11, 1991.

Francis William Aston was born on September1, 1877, he was a British chemist and physicist who won the 1922 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his discovery, by means of his mass spectrograph, of isotopes, in a large number of non-radioactive elements, and for his enunciation of the whole number rule.
