Stay on the execution of death sentence of Veerappan's aides

 

 

The Supreme Court of India  extends the execution of death sentence  imposed on four aides of sandalwood smuggler Veerappan by 6 weeks on today (20 february2013)  for killing 22 police personnel in a landmine blast in Karnataka in 1993.

Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is the state-run bus company in Kerala. It is one of the oldest state run public bus transport services in India.The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation began as the Travancore State Transport Department, constituted by the former Travancore Government with the intent of reorganizing the transportation services of the former state.The State Motor Service was  by His Highness Sree Chithirathirunal  on the 20th of February 1938.

John Glenn Orbits Earth in February 20, 1962 in the Friendship 7 space capsule.He was the first person to orbit the Earth. NASA launched one of the most important flights in American history. The mission was to send a man to orbit Earth, observe his reactions and return him home safely. John Glenn, became a national hero and a symbol of American ambition.
