The World Digital Library.
On 21 April 2009 UNESCO along with 32 partner institutions launched The World Digital Library. The World Digital Library
(WDL) is an international digital library operated by UNESCO and the
United States Library of Congress. The web site features free unlimited access to cultural material from around the world, including manuscripts, maps, rare books, films, sound recordings, prints, and photographs.
